 I wanted something that I could store all of my emergency stuff as well as a large lunch. I think this is going to work out pretty well. The routered grooves in the board keep it perfectly positioned on the rack. This is a Stanley FatMax tool box that I bought from Lowes for
$29.95. I plan to keep the gas, tire repair kit and spare tubes on the first layer. That will leave me the top layer that measures about 7" deep X 11" wide X 28" long to keep everything else. I  just have two bungees holding it on now and it seems secure, but I think I will have a couple of spares just in case. I like that it should break loose from the bike if I take a hard tumble.
